Healthy food choices for a picky eater??
ok so im kind of a picky eater so its hard to find healthy things i liek to eat that i actually like!!
i dont like:
any meat or fish
beets, pepper, cabbage, raw carrots, Cauliflower, onions leeks, cooked spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, aparagus, avacado, celary, chick peas, cucumber, eggplant, Zucchini or mushrooms
i only eat fruit in the summer except for bananas and grapes and apples
yogurt
any cheese besides mozzerella, parmesan and chedder
any nuts except almonds and walnuts ((unless they r in candy))
i only like beans if they r in a mexican dish
i only like rice if it has cheese
i dont like milk by itself unless its in a protein shake
i dont like eggs unless used for baking
i dont like jello
i dont like tofu
i dont like tempeh
i dont eat like a pig and i am not overweight. i just basically eat the same foods everyday and im sick of it!!
I would try and include some the foods you don't particularly like in some of the foods you do - diguise them. You could grate apple or pear into your yoghurt. If you like sweet potato you could cut them as wedges, sprinkle with dried rosemary and salt and bake in the oven and dip in sour cream. Use couscous and a base and add nuts and veges you like and dress with some olive oil, minced garlic and lemon juice. Just a few ideas
