What's the deal with Japan?
I mean, have you seen what passes as culture there? Tentacle rape, girls with eyes the size of dinner plates any other things I dare not mention!
It sounds like you have been watching a lot of Anime (cartoons), and some bad ones at that. Yes, there are a lot of hentai (dirty/adult) out there, some of which deal with girls being raped by space aliens who seem to sprout hundreds of tentacles. Classic Anime depicts girls as having overly large eyes.
My advice, get over yourself and get to know the culture a bit more before passing judgment. It is a very interesting country (I lived there for about 6 years) and has much more to offer than adult cartoons. I am not sure what country you come from, but I am sure it is known for a few bad things as well.
