What is the full name of the artist who painted this painting?
Hi, I have a painting that is signed Hamilton in the bottom left hand corner. The painting is of a mountain in the distance with trees and a river or stream. The painting is 39 inches high, 59 inches long and 73 inches diagonally. I know nothing else about the painting. Thanks for your help.

This seems like what you're describing, but it's signed in the bottom right hand corner.... and it's by Andrew Hamilton.

Or it might be this one... the signature has been cut off but it looks like it was originally in the bottom left corner. It's by James Hamilton Hay. http://www.paulfrasercollectibles.com/upload/public/docimages/Image/g/i/o/End-of-Coniston-Lake.jpg
If it's not either one of those, I'm not sure.
EDIT: I've searched high and low, looked up every artist named Hamilton, and couldn't find anything. Maybe it's just a local artist.
