How do I determine postage for mailings to other countries?
I live in the US and have to send letters to the Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, China, and Mexico. I'm trying to use the USPS website to determine the amount of stamps to put on the letters but I keep getting $1.80 which, to me, seems too high. I send letters to Italy with 3 stamps and they're fine. $1.80 calls for five stamps. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct calculator or what. So if someone knows off hand or can send me to the correct calculator, that would be great. Thanks!
The US Postal Service has only one international letter rate for items under X ounces. The overweight and oversize letters are more. The Postal Service web site will give you the answer or stop by the post office.
