I have a mappin and webb ltd rose tea set and want to know if it could be worth anything ?
Although it is incomplete there are 10 cups, 11 saucers, 1 dinner plate, 1 sugar bowl and 2 sandwich plates. It has written to the bottom of the items along with the company logo and is in good condition.
Well I haven't seen the tea set and can't find much about it online, but mappin and webb are very expensive jewellers and the price that some of their items go for, I would say yes they are worth something. Just by any chance that these might belong to your tea set, here's an example of the prices:
