How do I figure out the name of a Crooksville china pattern?
I have a few pieces of Crooksville dinnerware, but am not sure what the pattern name is - some of the pieces are not even marked on the back. If I knew the pattern name then maybe I could begin my search for the pieces I do not have - such as cups and misc serving sets.
If anyone can help me find out the pattern name I would greatly appreciate it.
When I go to Replacementsltd.com some of the patterns do not have photos, so I can not compair what I have to what it should look like.

I happen to have an illustrated encyclopedia of American dinnerware with about 40 Crookville patterns in it ~ if you can describe the dishes, I can do a quick check to see if they are listed 
Edited for additional information:
the pattern looks quite a bit like "Roses" however, the gold leaf on the plate is very different that the gold leaf on the "Roses" pattern. I've run across this before where a similar pattern is printed on different "blanks" and then referred to by a different name which is very frustrating for collectors.
There's a couple of things you can try ~
Barnes & Nobles and Borders carries identification guides for all sorts of American dinnerware. Spend a few hours browsing through their references books to see if you can turn up your pattern.
Another option is to visit the public library and see if you can't do an interlibrary loan for a Crooksville illustrated encyclopedia.
Final option (and I used to do this a lot when selling vintage dishes on eBay) is to search the web for "Crooksville dishes rose design" and see what comes up. Tias.com has a lot of collectors right now with Crookville patterns and you might find a match there
