i got concert tickets for me and my bff to see coldplay in july
its in mountain view ca. on the 13th. 20th row! wooohoo!!!
does anyone want to help me find a good hotel?? the thing is though, we want to see union square and china town the day of, then go to the concert at 8 pm?? how do i plan this?
1)MOST IMPORTANT** should we stay at a hotel in mountain view or onion square?? got any web links for deals on a room? can you stay at a hotel if your under 18??
2) how to pack??
3)how much would cab/bus fair be to get from union square to mountain view 1 way??
4) which airline is good and cheap (i was thinking jet blue??)

1. You'll want to stay in Mountain View.
2. Typically it will be cool and breezy in San Francisco and hot and sunny in Mountain View in July. You'll want to dress in layers so you can adjust for the weather. Shorts or jeans and a T-shirt for Mountain View with a sweatshirt or sweater for San Francisco could work.
3. Cab would be around $150 one way. Mountain View is about 40 miles south of San Francisco. Another option is Caltrain. A day pass would be $12 per person and then you can use other forms of public transportation to get around. 511.org has an excellent trip planner.
4. Personally, I would drive up the day before so you can get around easier. You'll avoid the public transportation headache and it'll be cheaper.
