Is Cristal Champagne bottle made from real crystal?
I was given a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne 2002 vintage.
I was told the bottle itself is made with some crystal.
My question is does this bottle actually have crystal in it?
Its heavy and all and I know way back then they used lead crystal, but I think its illegal to use lead crystal.

I've sold Cristal for 18 years as a bartender in a five diamond, five star Hotel Fine Dining restaurant in Dallas and can tell you that it is an urban legend. Never has, and never will.
By the way, there is no such thing as "some" cristal. it either is or isn't. And this isn't, sorry.
