what's the piece of wine furniture called and other liquor q's?
i was over a lady's house who my mom does business with...anyway she had in her dining room this piece of furniture, cherrywood with two hinged doors on the front, the top part basically was an open shelf w/ her decanter set and two wine bottles (or some type of booze bootles) on it. what is this piece of furniture called? is it a wine cart of some kind?? i just bought my first place and want to display a cool decanter set complete with a nice glasses set (wine glasses, high ball glasses, etc) i bought but not sure what type of furniture these things should go on.
BQ: i am not a big drinker at all, except mixed drinks (no beer). is there some type of liquor or other liquid i could keep in my decanter set for when company comes over (which is rare) that won't spoil or something? ty.
A wine cabinet maybe?
As for the decanter, I'm not sure what you could use. If it's main purpose is going to be display then I'd suggest colored water. You could always wash it out when you're planning on having people over.
